What Is a Life Path Number?
In numerology, your life path number is the single most important number in your chart — the equivalent of your Sun sign in astrology. It is calculated from your complete date of birth and describes the broad arc of your life: your natural gifts, the kind of work that fulfills you, how you love, and the recurring lessons the universe keeps scheduling for you.

How to Calculate It by Hand
Imagine someone born on 23 September 1994. Work through the three parts of the date separately:
- Day: 23 → 2 + 3 = 5
- Month: September is 9 → 9
- Year: 1994 → 1 + 9 + 9 + 4 = 23 → 2 + 3 = 5
